01Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how AXITEQ and its affiliated companies in the United States, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan ("AXITEQ", "we", "us") collect, use and protect personal data when you visit axiteq.com, contact us, request a demo or quote, download a resource or apply for a job.
AXITEQ operates in Denver (USA), Riyadh (KSA) and Islamabad (PK). The AXITEQ company you deal with is the controller of your personal data. For questions, contact us using the details at the end of this page.
This policy covers our website and enquiries. Data processed inside AxiOS, FleetOS and our other platforms on behalf of customers is governed by our customer agreements and data processing terms.
02Data we collect
We collect only what we need:
- Contact and enquiry data: name, company, job title, work email, phone, country, industry and the details of your request, when you use our contact, demo, quote or partner forms.
- Job application data: your CV, contact details, LinkedIn or portfolio links, experience, notice period, work preference and anything you include in your cover note.
- Resource downloads: if a download asks for it, your name and work email.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and referring site, collected through essential cookies and, only with your consent, analytics cookies.
- Communications: emails and messages you send us, and notes from calls and meetings.
We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not ask for sensitive personal data through this website. Please do not include it in free-text fields.
03How we use your data
- To answer enquiries, prepare proposals and quotes, and arrange demos.
- To assess job applications, arrange interviews and, with your consent, keep your application for future roles.
- To send information you have asked for, such as datasheets or updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To run, secure and improve our website, including preventing spam and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms and defend legal claims.
04Legal bases
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on: your consent (for example analytics cookies, marketing emails, and keeping applications for future roles); steps taken at your request before entering a contract (for example a quote or a job application); our legitimate interests in running and growing our business, balanced against your rights; and legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.
05Sharing your data
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- AXITEQ affiliated companies, where needed to handle your request.
- Service providers who act on our instructions, such as website hosting, email, form handling, analytics, CRM and applicant tracking providers.
- Professional advisers, auditors and insurers, under confidentiality duties.
- Authorities, where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
If AXITEQ is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, personal data may transfer to the buyer under the same protections.
06International transfers
Because we operate in the United States, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, and our providers may host data in other countries, your data may be transferred across borders. When this happens we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law, such as contractual protections, and we transfer only what is needed. Transfers of personal data from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia follow the conditions of the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its regulations.
07How long we keep it
- Enquiries and sales conversations: up to 3 years after our last contact, unless a contract requires longer.
- Job applications: up to 12 months after the role closes, or longer only with your consent. Successful applicants' data moves to their employee file.
- Analytics data: up to 14 months.
- Records we must keep by law: for the period the law requires.
08Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal data we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Ask us to delete your data or restrict how we use it.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests, and opt out of direct marketing at any time.
- Withdraw consent you have given.
- Receive your data in a portable format, where applicable.
- Complain to a data protection authority, such as the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) in KSA or your state authority in the USA.
To use your rights, email info@axiteq.com. We may need to confirm your identity, and we will reply within the time the law requires, normally within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.
09Security
We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls on a need-to-know basis, and vetted providers. No system is perfectly secure, so if you believe your data has been put at risk, contact us straight away. See Security and compliance for more.
